During this 2 day workshop you will be introduced to different creative techniques for earth walls. From sgraffito, sculptural relief, stencil, creating textures and imprints to using various natural additives for the earth plaster. 

We will learn about the origins, cultural meanings and uses of all these different earth wall art techniques, as well as contemporary examples and uses. We will then learn and practice these techniques on a group artwork. Afterwards you will get a chance to experiment and create individual canvases, which you will be able to take back home with you.

Mother's Creative Retreat is an invitation to join a community of women, together drawing wisdom from nature. Created by friends who both unexpectedly became mothers at the same time and supported each other along the process of physical, psychological and emotional changes. We want to share with you the creative tools, connecting us to the natural cycles of growth, introspection and flourishing of Earth. Through gentle yoga, sound therapy, hand-built clay pottery, nature-inspired jewellery making, as well as Earth sculpting, we will be shedding layers and celebrating creative growth.
